Il Cameri calcio ha cambiato il suo allenatore scegliendo un nome noto alla società e ai cameresi, è Maurizio Antonini bandiera del Cameri calcio negli anni 90 e professionista impegnato anche in ambito calcistico novarese col team degli ex giocatori del Novara.

Abbiamo chiesto al neo allenatore della compagine camerese quali fossero le sue prime impressioni, lui ci ha risposto così:
“Sono davvero orgoglioso di ritornare a Cameri da allenatore dopo i miei trascorsi da giocatore.
L’amicizia che mi lega alla società e la conoscenza diretta di qualche giocatore mi hanno convinto a sposare il progetto del presidente Paolo Sodero ma sono anche contento di rimettermi in gioco alla guida di una squadra con molti giovani in attesa delle decisioni della Federazione per poter iniziare questa emozionante esperienza.
Sono convinto che l’ambiente professionale della società camerese sarà il litemotiv per iniziare questa esperienza e sono sicuro che la squadra sarà competitiva nel difficile campionato di Seconda categoria.”
